FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS AND RULES
1. What time do the doors open?
Doors open at 9 pm. Check-in runs from 9 pm -9:30 pm at the Choir entrance (door 23). Doors will be locked at 9:30 pm.
2. What do I need to bring with me?
Your student ID or driver’s license to check in. Tennis shoes are required if you are playing in the volleyball tournament.
3. Do I need to bring extra money?
No! All refreshments and activities are included in your ticket price.
4. Are there clothing restrictions or recommendations?
For security reasons, sweatshirts with hoods (those without hoods are fine), jackets or hats are NOT allowed in the party. It’s recommended that you wear pants/shorts with pockets to help hold your raffle tickets. Also, certain parts of the building are chilly, while others are overly-warm. Bring layers to add and peel off as needed!
5. What can I expect to happen at check-in?
Each party attendee is assigned a unique party number that is written on their hand. From there, students then proceed to “Host Bank” in the Orchestra Room, where they will pick up raffle basket tickets.
6. Where do I keep my personal stuff?
Students will be assigned a bag with a number that corresponds to the assigned party number written on their hand. Personal items, such as car keys and phones, will be kept safely in the Host Bank room (monitored by parent volunteers all night long), until the end of the event. Students will pick up their items along with a bag of goodies and any raffles/prizes won at the end of the party. Students will have access to their bag throughout the night.
7. May I bring my cell phone or camera?
A couple volunteer photographers will be taking photos during the party so you do not need to bring your phone or camera. If you do bring it, you will place it in your numbered bag in the Host Bank room (monitored by parent volunteers all night long) for safekeeping. A link to party photos will be available. And, if you need to use your phone, you may have access to it in the Host Bank room throughout the night.
8. How can I win prizes?
a. Everyone who purchases a ticket to the party wins a door prize.
b. Everyone is entered in the grand prize drawings (not the basket raffles) automatically when you check in.
c. Baskets on display are raffled off at the end of the party. You will receive 10 raffle basket tickets when you arrive, with opportunities to win or obtain more. Write your assigned party number on each raffle ticket. Choose which basket(s) you would like to win, and place one or more tickets in the corresponding bucket for the prize(s) you like most!
9. How many prizes can I win?
You could win up to two prizes – one raffle basket and one other prize.
10. How can I earn raffle basket tickets?
You will earn additional raffle tickets by participating in the activities at the party.
11. What happens if I purchased a ticket to the party but don’t show up?
Your parent/guardian will be contacted.
12. I purchased a ticket, but I do not plan on attending, can I get my money back?
Unfortunately, no, all party expenses are based on tickets sold.
13. What happens if someone arrives under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs?
Any senior who arrives in an impaired state will be taken to the First Aid room. A chaperone will contact the student’s parent or guardian to arrange for the student to be taken home.
14. May I leave before 4:00 AM?
You must have permission from your parent/guardian to leave early, and the party chairs (Katie Hedges or Stacy Hanson) must speak directly to your parent/guardian in person when they pick you up.
15. What happens if I don’t feel well?
There is a First Aid room next to the Senior Lounge. Your parents will be contacted if necessary and can take you home if not feeling well.
16. Is there a telephone number that parents/guardians can call in case of an emergency?

17. I have a medical condition or a food allergy. Who should I speak with about my needs?
Advance notice is required if you anticipate any potential needs during the party, such as carrying an EpiPen. Again, please have your parent send an email to info@whsseniorparty.com
18. I purchased my ticket by May 10. When do I get my alumni t-shirt?
